Sidney Rose FRSA is a senior education leader, advisor and consultant who has worked in many countries, cultures and settings - including USA, UK, Scandinavia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Europe, UAE, India, Qatar, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya and Egypt. Throughout his interactions and engagements within these countries, Mr Rose has experience with a range of national and international curricula, as well as teacher-training.

He has worked both in both public and private sectors, across a range of socio-economic settings. Over the course of his long career in K-12 education and beyond he has proven himself to be an innovative and creative change leader. He has experience as a Founding Director of a number of prestigious international schools as well as advising and consulting on the start-up of many others – lately in Spain.

In his consultancy work, he has worked with governmental bodies such as Ministries of Education and many education organisations, including International Baccalaureate and the University of Cambridge and has presented at a number of education conferences. His experiences across a range of countries would be worth considering as companies look to hire individuals with a diverse range of international experiences and skills.

Sidney Rose was recruited to found Qatar Leadership Academy on behalf of the Qatar Royal Family which is a collaboration between Qatar Foundation for Education, Science & Community Development and Qatar Armed Forces. His brief was to set up the academic resources of the Academy, including curriculum, recruiting teaching staff and gaining academic international accreditation.

Mr Rose was chosen for this role due to his vast experience in education, his strength of character and understanding of local Arabic culture and tradition. He is a highly confident, enthusiastic and well-presented man who is passionate about good education. He toiled for long hours to get this highly prestigious project successfully started and liaised with The Board of Trustees and St, John’s Northwest Military Academy in USA in its development.
